Expect to be entertained all day! Whether you are the youngest or the oldest in your family, Between the Bays offers people of all ages something to do, listen to, eat, drink and enjoy.
This is our 5th year, and as we get older we are meeting new and exciting people who attend and love our festival. Our guests leave at the end of the festival fully satisfied that they have enjoyed a fantastic day full of great Australian music, local Peninsula gourmet food and wine and more than anything, a truly memorable day out.
Between the Bays attendees will be treated to a variable feast of local gourmet food stalls offering a wide range of tastes and smells. Food stalls include the Flying Calamari Brothers, The Moroccan Kitchen, Wood Fired Pizzas, Noodle Hut, Chorizo Sausage Salad Cones, Mango Licks and even a Lolly Shop for the kids! Not to mention the amazing assortment of homemade cakes, slices and jams available to enjoy with your freshly brewed latte or cappuccino! There is also the option of packing your own picnic hamper for the day, but please remember, no glass. Bon Appetit!
Between the Bays has a great patronage of local wineries. These include Barmah Park, Tuck's Ridge and T'Gallant to enjoy whilst lying back on the lawn soaking up the vibe. If wine is not your thing, then you may be interested in sampling a few different local beers handcrafted by the famous Red Hill Brewery.Beers include Golden Ale, Wheat Beer and everyone's favourite, the Scotch Ale.
The kids (and adults!) also enjoy beautiful and refreshing Mango Licks and Mango Lassies, all non-alcoholic of course. Between the Bays promotes responsible service of alcohol, and requests festival goers to be conscious of the .05 blood alcohol limit.
Kids are entertained at Between the Bays all day long at no extra cost! We have a HUGE inflatable obstacle course, giant slide, helicopter chair ride, face painting, balloon art, spray on tattoos (some of the adults like this as well!), lucky dips, luck envelopes, jumping castle, art classes, badge making and heaps more.
Parents can relax in our picturesque rural environment knowing that their children are safe and well supervised by our wonderful event staff and activity operators. However, we do require parents to be responsible for their children at all times whist at Between the Bays.
