EVENT INFORMATION

About Between the Bays...

In 2012, we've added something for everyone with an eclectic mix of music for all the family including Mark Seymour with full band, CUSTARD!!, Jordie Lane, The Ooga Boogers, JVG's Guitar Method, Lah Lah's BIG Live Band (for the kids....and adults!!), Indigenous Hip Hop Act and Workshop and local boys from Padua College...The Fuzzbirds! Between the Bays - An Independent Family Music Experience - was developed and created by staff members at Penbank School. Penbank School is an Independent Junior School for boys and girls Early Learning 3 Year Old to Year 6. Penbank is set on a delightful 35 acre rural property in Moorooduc on the Mornington Peninsula (approximately 1 hr drive from Melbourne).

Now in its 7th year, Between the Bays is firmly established as Mornington Peninsula's best, family-friendly music festival on the summer calendar. A family day not to be missed.

Between the Bays began back in 2006 and is now a much loved family day out for all to enjoy. Throughout the years, Between the Bays has offered music lovers on the Mornington Peninsula, and wider parts of Melbourne, a festival option that is safe and entertaining for kids, that has a great range of local gourmet food and drinks, is inexpensive and has an all-inclusive community feel. The fact that 3RRR Independent Radio station 'Presents' Between the Bays is a huge tick of approval from the music and arts industry. Artists not only love playing at Between the Bays, they ask to come back! Between the Bays allows families throughout our local and greater communities to enjoy great live music, in a safe family-friendly and happy environment. Our experience is for all members of the family no matter what age. All proceeds raised by Between the Bays go back into our school. Penbank School proudly supports the Wugularr Community School in the Northern Territory.

Between the Bays offers a broad range of culinary delights to help fuel you for this exciting day. Be prepared!

Remember to be ready for our famous Victorian weather. Pack a jumper, sunscreen, hat, sunnies and everything else to make your day at Between the Bays more enjoyable.

Shade and Shelter

Between the Bays is an outdoor event and we wish we controlled the weather. In 2012 we have dedicated an area for families to bring small shade tents that can be put up towards the rear of the oval so they do not obstruct others' viewing.

We've got it all...

Out of cash? See the lovely Sharren at the main entrance near the ATM sign. Clean loos, sunscreen, fresh drinking water and shade are all in abundance at Between the Bays 2012.

Where are we??

Between the Bays happens at Penbank, located at the end of Rickards Road in Moorooduc, Mornington Peninsula (Google Map) approximately 1 hour south of Melbourne.
